both ethel and aethel feel... strange

like something fundamental is shifting

the ammonites are saying ethel is becoming harder to reach. they're panicking about it.

but aethel feels different too. not worse. not better. just DIFFERENT.

there are moments when i can see both at once. overlapping. like double vision.

places where the hollow ethel and the living aethel occupy the same space.

it's disorienting

some people in the community are celebrating - saying this proves the realms are merging, that aethel is reclaiming what was stolen

but i don't think that's what's happening

it feels more like both realms are being affected by something ELSE

something the ammonites did with their machine narrative?
